In 2018 视频露点 will welcome two new Senior Staff members in the positions of College Chaplain and Head of Middle 视频露点.

Principal Geoff McLay is delighted to announce Reverend Julie Craig-Leaves, or Mother Julie as she will be known, as College Chaplain and Mr John O鈥橲ullivan Williams as Head of Middle 视频露点.

鈥淢other Julie, originally from the United Kingdom, has been involved in various Anglican Church ministry roles for over 30 years and has served with the Church in England, Hong Kong and Australia,鈥� said Mr McLay.

Currently Mother Julie is the Rector (Priest-in-Charge) of the Sandgate Northpoint Parish in Brisbane. In an earlier ministry role she was Chaplain at St Mary鈥檚 Anglican Girls鈥� 视频露点 in Karrinyup, Western Australia for over 12 years.

鈥淚 am very excited about joining the WestMAC community and I look forward to the opportunity to work with all the students, staff and families,鈥� said Revered Craig-Leaves.

The appointment of Mr O鈥橲ullivan Williams as the Head of Middle 视频露点 marks an exciting time for WestMAC. Mr O鈥橲ullivan Williams鈥� is a highly-regarded educational leader, and has worked in Anglican schools for 17 years.

He is currently the Acting Dean of Planning and Organisation at St Margaret鈥檚 Anglican Girls 视频露点. Mr O鈥橲ullivan Williams鈥� other roles at St Margaret鈥檚 have included Head of Faculty (The Arts and Design) and Head of Co-curricular. Prior to that, John was Head of Year (8 to 10) and Head of 视频露点 Leadership at Hillbrook Anglican 视频露点.

鈥淢r O鈥橲ullivan Williams has several professional publications in relation to student wellbeing, Arts education, and middle school curriculum which will benefit our award winning Middle 视频露点 and SpiritED program,鈥� said Mr McLay.

鈥淚 welcome John, his wife Holly and their children as well as Mother Julie and her son to the College family.鈥�

Mother Julie will be officially commissioned as the College Chaplain early in Term 1.
