Part of their playground is dedicated to a 鈥榩icking patch鈥� that each children must help to care for.
Head of Junior 视频露点, Kirsten Mullan said the garden provides students with the opportunity to learn that living things have basic needs including food and water, while teaching them about healthy eating.鈥�
鈥淭he students learn about the science of plants, animals, weather, the environment and nutrition in an active and engaging way,鈥� she said.
鈥淚t鈥檚 amazing to see what the children will eat when they grow it themselves.鈥�
Prep students enjoyed pizzas made with the produce they harvested from the garden at the end of the term.
